Am 24.12.2016 eröffneten wir die Tore für eine neue Dimension der elektronischen Musik in der Ortenau.

Nun liefern wir für euch, schön verpackt und in Szene gesetzt unser 1 Jähriges bestehen!

Dazu haben wir das Stuttgarter Label "From Another Mind" zu Gast. Mit dabei sind SHDW und Silent-One. Als besonderes Schmankerl dürfen wir euch SHLØMO präsentieren! Kommt vorbei, feiert mit uns auf die Zukunft und ein weiteres Jahr in dem wir ein neues Kapitel der regionalen elektronischen Musikszene schreiben werden

„From Another Mind“ ist ein Label und eine Eventserie die 2014 im Raum Stuttgart gegründet wurde. Die Anfänge hatte die Veranstaltungsreihe im Stuttgarter Club „Romy S." und erweiterte sich danach auf das „MMA- Mixed Music Arts“ in München.

Unter dem Leitmotiv „intelligent techno“ sind die Stuttgarter seit Ihrem Beginn steil durch die Decke gegangen. Neben Ihrer Residency in Stuttgart und München, wurde unter anderem auch Deutschlands wohl bekanntester Club, das Berghain bespielt. Aber auch im europäischen Ausland bleibt der Erfolg nicht aus. Nächstes Jahr werden SHDW & Obscure Shape auch auf dem berühmten „Sonus“- Festival in Kroatien zu hören sein.

Shlømo is at the heart of the French techno underground. In just a couple of years he has swiftly emerged with his own distinctive sound, mostly on his own Taapion Records but also on influential labels like Delsin, Singular records and Arts Collective. Balancing real feeling with all important Dancefloor function, his sets and productions marry stark moods with absorbing atmospheres and for that reason have found favour with key techno tastemakers around the globe. With a distinct ear for authentic grooves and mesmeric sound design, Shlømo is as captivating in the club as he is in the studio. His live show is an extension of that creative space and finds him cooking up compelling sound tracks using gear like a Nord 1, Korg MS20, Roland TR-8, Mikrokorg and Korg Mono/Poly. As a DJ, too, he is a master of pacing and spacing and can trap you in a high pressure groove or allow you to drift on a dark mood with equal élan, either solo or with label mates PVNV and AWB under the Taapion Soundsytem moniker. These performances take him to key clubs and festivals from Berlin’s Berghain to Tbilisi’s thriving Bassiani and Russia’s Gamma, not forgetting the local Parisien hotspot Concrete where he is a resident. Always a mix of cerebral and visceral affairs, they have made him one of the most exciting talents in the game right now. As such, 2017 sees forthcoming releases on Delsin, Slam’s SOMA and fresh Taapion material, plus a Japanese tour and another appearance at the seminal UK Freerotation festival. On top of various Shlømo productions that are set to be remixed by the likes of Oscar Mulero, Tripeo, Johannes Heil and Sigha, not to mention whispers of a debut album the Frenchman’s 2017 is shaping up to be very busy as he continues to set his own techno agenda.

SHDW founded From Another Mind in April of 2014, a party which brought their favorite artists to their hometown Stuttgart. 

Of course the natural progression from promoting a successful clubnight is founding an imprint that carries the night´s ideals on to the decks of likeminded DJs, and so the first From Another Mind record was released in 2015, a stellar debut for both the label and its producers. The “Nachtblende EP“ gained wide acclaim throughout the Techno community, with the tracks recieving support from scene stalwarts, bloggers and critics alike.

Aside from Rekids, where they remixed Radio Slave's 'Vision' last year, the pair's abilities in the studio have seen them invited by Slam for two separate remixes of Monoloc and Envoy on Soma, with more projects to be announced.

Their DJing fuses oldschool influences of Acid, Rave and EBM with the dramatic Techno sound one can hear on the FAM records. They are equally comfortable with the first, the last or the peak slot of a night, thus making them an universal party weapon. 

Though young at age, their record collection demonstrates musical knowledge some veterans can only hope to gain and they swiftly but thoughtfully moves through different periods of electronic music in their sets.
